L⇔R), Mukai Kaori, HAPPY EVER AFTER × Vocalist Yu Tokiwa, and Lily Shrimp. HAPPY EVER AFTER × Vocalist Yū Tokiwa includes a cover of Cornelius' ‘RAISE YOUR HAND TOGETHER.’ This track was originally released on a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl in April 2023 and sold out immediately upon release, sparking significant buzz. It has never been streamed and is now being released on CD for the first time. Mei Semones is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Brooklyn, New York. She has over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and her music is characterised by folk music utilising jazz techniques and sophisticated English and Japanese vocals. This release includes her song ‘Muchuu (Dreaming)’ released in January 2022. Jazz vocalist Kaori Mukai, who has performed theme songs for the drama series ‘Nishiogi Mitsuboshi Youshuudo’ (MBS Mainichi Broadcasting) and TBS Sunday Theatre ‘Gekokujo Kyuuji,’ participates in ‘A Summer's Dream.’ This is also her first CD release. Lily Shrimp, a new unit formed in September last year, features the twin vocals of Risa (ex. SUGARCLIP) and Ayuna, along with beautiful, timeless melodies. The acoustic version of their debut song ‘The Tree Fairy’ is included as a preview track. 　 From BMX Bandits, a pillar of Glasgow's guitar pop scene, the track ‘So Many Colours’ from their 2007 album ‘BEE STINGS’ is included. This song was created during their tour in Japan, and its beautiful melody and soothing vocals are worth noting. Finally, the album includes ‘DON'T BRING ME DOWN (Distant)’ from the rare live recording of the final concert of the ‘LIVE TIME BEST TOUR 2015 “BEST VALUE”’ tour held by the late Kenichi Kurosawa at Akasaka BLITZ. The lively and expansive vocals, unique to live performances, evoke a sense of melancholy. The nostalgic yet new short-format CD package includes a special lyric card with liner notes conceived by Miobell Records. Comments from each artist about their respective tracks are also included, except for the late Kurosawa Kenichi. All tracks feature newly mastered audio from 2025.
